Equipment Leasing Program

(ELP)

Purpose:

The Authority has established an Equipment Leasing Program (ELP) to provide tax exempt financing for equipment.

Financing can either be done with a specific lending institution or bid out to multiple lenders using the Authority's standardized documents. Your choice!

Who Can Participate?:

Any institution that is qualified to borrow from the Authority under RSA 195-D is eligible to be a borrower under this program.

Fees/Expenses:

The Authority, Authority's counsel, bond counsel, and escrow agent fees are fixed.* There are additional fixed bid agent fees if the bid process is used.

* Fees are based on the use of HEFA's standard documents. Bond counsel and HEFA counsel fees may increase if the standard documents are not used.

Term:

The lease term, usually 1-10 years, is determined by the institution based upon the useful life of the leased assets.
